I am not trying to mix politics with nursing . But Let me tell you a story happened to me few days ago . In my shift in Paediatric Intensive Care Unit admitted the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life . She was only five months old with an angle face . Her disease was rarely noticed and diagnosed specially in Saudi Arabia. The name of the disease called Botulism. It is the first time this case came to the hospital where I worked in. Any way , the medication for this disease is not available in Saudi Arabia , may be in the whole middle east . We have contacted all medical companies around the world , which they have no access to make or may be no authorisation to manufacture it . The only establishment who is known to have this medication in stock is the American Army , which they refused to help this poor girl and left her dying . I don't know what the excuse for refusal??? . But I – and the rest of the world – know that they are using this disease in biological weapons . The United States of America and its Army are no longer protect liberty and freedom . Do YOU THINK otherwise ??? ASK THE REST OF THE WORLD . Back to the main question who is the terrorist 5 moths old dying girl or Army killing innocent civilians everyday in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN ???????? My best regards to all nurses around the world .

انا لست احاول ان اجمع بين السياسه والتمريض. ولكن سوف اخبركم بهذه القصة حدثت معي قبل ايام. في شفتي بالعنايه المركزه للاطفال ادخلت لدينا اجمل طفلة رأيتها في حياتي "ماشاءالله".عمرها خمس اشهر فقط .مرضها نادر خصصوصا بالمملكة .يسمى المرض بوتلاسيسم. كانت اول حاله تمر على مستشفانا على أي حال علاجها غير موجود بالمملكة ولا حتى بالشرق الاوسط .حاولنا ان نكلم اغلب الشركات الطبية حول العالم ولكن للأسف غير موجود علاجها وهو مضاد لسمية البوتلاسيسم.يوجد فقط في امريكا وتحديداً لدى الجيش الامريكي ولكنه رفض ان يعطينا العلاج لأن هذا المرض يعتبر من الامراض التي تستخدم بالحروب البيلوجية
امريكا طبعاً لديها اكبر مصنع للاسلحة البيلوجية لااعلم من هو الارهابي اهي الطفلة التي تواجه الموت ام الجيش الامريكي الذي يقتل في كل مكان بالعراق وافغانستان ...الخ

وللمعلومية سبب مرضها كان ملعقه عسل لأن العسل سمي على الاطفال اقل من عمر سنه حيث ان جهازهم المناعي لم يكتمل بعد
اتمنى من الجميع تحذير وتثقيف الاهالي عن هذه النقطه خصوصاً ان اغلب العوائل لدينا يضعون العسل في حليب الاطفال ظناً منهم انه ينفع

For those nurses who are want to know about Botulism

Definition
Botulism is a rare but serious illness caused by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. The bacterium may enter the body through wounds, or they may live in improperly canned or preserved food

Overview, Causes, & Risk Factors
Clostridium is found in soil and untreated water throughout the world. It produces spores that survive in improperly preserved or canned food, where they produce toxin. When eaten, even minute amounts of this toxin can lead to severe poisoning.
The foods most commonly contaminated are home-canned vegetables, cured pork and ham, smoked or raw fish, and honey or corn syrup. Botulism may also occur if the organism enters open wounds and produces toxin there.
Infant botulism is a special type in which living bacteria or its spores are ingested and grow within the infant's gastrointestinal tract. The most common cause of infant botulism is from the ingestion of honey or corn syrup.
Clostridium also occurs normally in the stool of some infants.
Approximately 110 cases of botulism occur in the U.S. per year. The majority are in infants. Respiratory failure caused by weakness in the muscles that control breathing can cause death in up to 7% of food-related illness

Botulism Symptoms & Signs
difficulty swallowing and speaking
progressive weakness with paralysis
nausea, vomiting
abdominal cramps
dry mouth
double vision
breathing difficulty that may lead to respiratory failure
breathing, absent temporarily
no fever, usually
in infants:
o constipation
o weakness, loss of muscle tone
o weak cry
o poor feeding and weak sucking
o respiratory distress
o appears alert but weak

Botulism Complications
aspiration pneumonia and infection
respiratory distress
long-lasting weakness
nervous system dysfunction for up to one year

Note: i will translate the whole subject to Arabic language later on for the nursing student and other nurses who are not understand it

I have vever heared about this disease ((Botulism))but what ever it was
and without mention stories like this
ALL OF THE WORLD ARE KNOWING THE TRUE TERRORIST
and until now all of us also cant face this problem or doing something to STOP
dying of muslims either by war or by any other way.Thanks alot for this subject and thank you also for illustrating
