patient preparation for abdominal CT scan :
give enema at 6 pm and keep NPO ( excpet fluids and momedication)
prepare contrast by adding 30 cc gastrografin to 1000cc water and devide it into two portions of500cc each.
give one portion of 500 cc orally from 6 pm to 6 am .
give second portion of 500cc as following 6 am to 7 am 100cc
from 7 am to 8 am 100cc
from 8 am to 9 am 100cc
from 9 am to 10 am 100cc
after that at 10 am send the patient to CT scan room along with remaining portion of 100 cc
